Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a unique opportunity to bring awareness to experiences and aspects of ourselves that have been hidden from consciousness. Although I believe that therapy is a tool that can prevent mental health issues, often times we wait until we are suffering to seek help. Regardless of what brings you to therapy at this time, I invite you not to judge or criticize yourself, but instead to be curious about the inner workings of your mind, body, and spirit, in order to find healthy and positive solutions to your pain.
Group Therapy
One of my favorite parts of my work as a therapist is leading process groups. The opportunity for growth and connection has been exponential for my clients who participate in group therapy. I find that individual therapy can be greatly enhanced when done simultaneously with group therapy. Process groups facilitate both an intrapersonal and interpersonal dynamic amongst peers, where members have the opportunity to reduce social anxiety, increase self-esteem, improve relationships with loved ones, and work through complicated issues by gaining multiple perspectives.
