Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a unique opportunity to bring awareness to experiences and aspects of ourselves that have been hidden from consciousness. Although I believe that therapy is a tool that can prevent mental health issues, often times we wait until we are suffering to seek help. Regardless of what brings you to therapy at this time, I invite you not to judge or criticize yourself, but instead to be curious about the inner workings of your mind, body, and spirit, in order to find healthy and positive solutions to your pain.

 

Couples Therapy

The opportunity for growth and connection has been exponential for my clients who participate in couples therapy. I find that individual therapy can be greatly enhanced when done simultaneously with couples work to bring great insight and increased depth to an intimate relationship. I utilize Sensorimotor Psychotherapy principles and interventions to help couples learn to resource activation during conflict and gain deeper understanding of how each person is organized around a conflict cycle, that may be perpetuating emotional distance and communication barriers in the relationship.
